Datawrapper is the fastest way to make a whole bunch of numbers look a lot more interesting. It is an online tool that lets you create charts and maps in just a few steps:

1. Upload your data. Once you paste your data into the field or upload a comma separated values (CSV) file, the platform will read your document.

2. Choose a chart: bar, pie chart or even a map. Datawrapper offers a few different options for colors and data grouping, but overall there’s not much customization available. Keep it simple!

3. Copy the embed code from Datawrapper, paste it into your website’s HTML code and you are done!

You can download the finished charts in PNG formats if you want to take them offline as part of a presentation. The free version is fairly limited to just five chart types – bar, column, donut, line and pie charts. You can pay for a subscription or the custom service.
