To create pretty things, you will need pretty colors, too. ColorHexa will help you find the right ones.

Choose a color. ColorHexa will show you alternative shades. Or, take your pick from the list of 216 websafe colors.
The tool will present you with possible color schemes and show you how these schemes will look to a color blind person. You can also create color gradients and such. ColorHexa provides many different representations of your color: You can simply copy the RGB, CMYK or Hexadecimal codes, among others.

Another tool for creating color schemes is Paletton. Try them both and tell us which one you prefer.
